| This variety produces small pullet shaped tomatoes that are a pale pinkish red color. Porter tomatoes are exceptionally heat and drought resistant. The plants grow well in poor soil and bear fruit until frost. The flavor is not adversely affected by hot, dry weather. Expect heavy yields on large, indeterminate plants. We have been constantly impressed with the production and quality of these tomatoes during our intensely hot summers. This variety produces fruit when all others fail. 65 days. |
