We offer a selection of flowers that are beautiful addition to any garden area, bringing color and fragrance to walkways and borders. Many of the flowers we offer are also wonderful as companion plants for vegetables and herbs. They can attract or repel certain garden creatures to the benefit of other plants. They are often easy to grow and can be used as cut flowers.

African or Cape Daisy
This variety produces beautiful, prolific flowers in a multitude of colors. It is extremely easy to grow; but it requires a dry climate.

Alyssum - Carpet of Snow Flowers
Plants grow only six inches tall and are covered with dainty white flowers. The plants tend to spread and are wonderful as a border planting or when grown in between rocks. They also do well in containers. Cut back at midsummer when plants begin to go to seed and new blooms will follow. (Annual)

Bachelor Button - Blue Boy Flowers
This beautiful heirloom variety produces light blue flowers all summer long. It loves the heat and is drought tolerant. It does well in poor soil and will reseed itself year after year. The blue flowers are very attractive to bees. Also known as Double Cornflower. (Annual)

Bachelor Buttons Mixed (Centaurea Cyanus) Flowers
This old-time variety is also known as Cornflower. Multi-color flowers grow on dark 2-3 foot foliage. This flower prefers full or partial sun; it does not produce in shade. Most often used as cut flowers in bouquets. It is an extremely hardy flower, tolerant of extremes in weather. (Annual)

Cosmos - Sensation Blend Flowers
This early flowering plant produces giant, single flowers that may be white, rose, pink or crimson. This variety grows to a height of about four to six feet with flowers that can be up to four inches across. It is stunning when planted along paths or open walkways. Very drought and heat tolerant. Bright blue flowers are featured on feathery plants that grow about two feet high. Grow this beautiful plant in full sun; it is drought and heat tolerant. Plant blue flax along borders where a splash of color is needed. Flax seeds are very nutritious; high in omega-3 fatty acids and lignans. (Perennial)

Marigolds - French Double Dwarf
These small plants produce beautiful double flowers that can be more than an inch across. The colors include orange, gold and yellow with some variegated flowers. This variety also protects vegetables from some garden pests and can be planted around the edges of tomato beds for additional support. (Annual)

Marigolds-Crackerjack Mix
Marigolds may be started easily from seed and transplant well. This variety produces an abundance of large flowers that bloom throughout the season. The plant is compact and bushy with the blossoms well exposed. This variety blooms continuously until frost. Sunflowers are native to America. These plants often reach over 10 feet in height when grown without competition from other plants. The flower heads can be more than eighteen inches in diameter. Only one large flower grows on each plant, making them a very striking addition to any garden.
