Turnips are too often neglected as a home garden vegetable. They are surprisingly hardy and easy to grow. Turnips grow remarkably well in the desert. They need a consistent supply of water but grow well in poor soil. Turnip greens (tops) are exceptionally high in vitamins and minerals.
Each packet contains 2 grams, approximately 500 seeds. Turnip seeds germinate well for up to four years when stored in a cool and dry location.
