These beautiful small sunflowers produce pale lemon yellow blooms that are about six inches across on plants that grow about three feet tall. Each plant has multiple blooms of the yellow flowers with dark centers. Great for cut flowers and as a low wind break when grown close together on one side of your garden. (Annual)

Lemon Queen Sunflower (Annual) - Plant early spring to a depth of 1/2" in light composted soil. Leave a distance of about 1 foot around each after thinning.. Do not plant other plants close, sunflower roots get extremely large and neighboring plants do not like them. For raised bed seed production plants should be 8" apart throughout bed. Plant where it can provide shade for low growing vegetables in summer. Plant in late February through the end of March.
