All our seeds are open pollinated, chemically untreated and nonGMO. We specialize in carrying only heirloom seeds. We focus on finding varieties that perform well in extreme climates. With that said, our seeds are a favorite for many gardeners and we hope to be a part of your gardening experience, whether you are a master gardener or new to the joy of growing your own food.

Honeydew Melon-Green Fleshed Red Salad Bowl Lettuce
This variety is a smooth globe shaped melon with a hard rind and no netting. The rind is white and changes to a golden tinge when ripe. The flesh is a light emerald green color and the flavor is outstanding. It is possibly one of the sweetest melons available. Average weight for the ripe juicy melons is about 6 pounds. 112 days. Beautiful bronze-red outer leaves and lighter blanched inner leaves make this a particularly popular variety. This quick growing large leafed lettuce is sweet and delicious. It does not bolt or get bitter in hot weather, allowing it to be planted and enjoyed during summer and fall weather. 45 days.

Purple Hull Pinkeye Cowpeas Perkins Long Green Pod Okra
Hardy compact, bush type plants produce white peas with pink or purple eyes. This cowpea produces well in poor soil and has excellent disease resistance. It needs to be planted after all danger of frost has past and it loves the heat. 68 days for dry, 50 days for snap.

These short sturdy plants grow to about 3-4  feet in height. This variety produces heavy yields of tasty green okra. The pods are stocky and spineless. The fully formed seeds can be cooked like peas. 52 days.

Oak Leaf Lettuce Straight Eight Cucumber
This lettuce variety forms a close center with loose outer leaves. Medium sized oak leaf shaped greens are sweet and tender. This variety does not get bitter in hot weather. 40 days. This is a versatile slicing variety. The dark green fruits are known for their excellent flavor and texture. The cucumbers grow to about 8 inches long and 3 inches wide. This variety produces heavy yields of delicious cucumbers that are resistant to mosaic virus. 58 days.
