With that said, our seeds are a favorite for many gardeners and we hope to be a part of your gardening experience, whether you are a master gardener or new to the joy of growing your own food.

Fava Broad Windsor Beans White Icicle Radish
These unusual plants produce flat glossy pods that measure up to 8" long. The fresh beans can be steamed for a few minutes or sauteed with garlic and onion. The fresh or dried beans are excellent in soups; prized for their mild delicious flavor. The dried beans are very large - about 18 beans to an ounce. 90 days. This beautiful white radish produces roots up to 5 inches long. The young roots are sweet and tender and the flavor becomes stronger as they age. This variety holds its quality well even in hot weather. A circle of white radishes may be planted around the base of young squash plants to deter the squash vine borer.

Little Marvel Peas Danish Ballhead Cabbage
This heirloom semi-dwarf variety has been a garden favorite for more than 100 years. The plants grow to about 24-30 inches in height. This variety is very dependable; producing large numbers of tightly packed 3 inch pods with 6-9 peas inside. Plant these vigorous plants and harvest high yields of delicious sweet plump peas for shelling. The peas stay well on the vine for an extended harvest. 62 days. This very dependable variety produces medium size, flat globe shaped cabbage. Each cabbage weighs about 5-6 pounds with dark outer leaves and light green interior. This old time favorite is a great keeper, whether in the garden or in storage. 100 days.

China White Radish Ancho/Poblano Pepper
This is the mildest of the Chinese radish varieties. The radish has smooth white skin and grows about 5 inches long with a thick 2 inch diameter. The flavor is slightly pungent. Sliced thin and allowed to soak in a mild rice vinegar, these radishes are delicious. Frost resistant and a great keeper, this unusual variety deserves some garden space. This heart shaped chili pepper is black-green and turns a deep brownish red at maturity. This variety has a distinctive, mildly hot flavor. The pepper is fat, about 4 inches by 3 inches, wrinkled and tapered. Ancho peppers are particularly popular used fresh roasted or dried and powdered. 1,000 to 2,000 scovilles. 70 days.
