This loose leaf variety produces tender, delicate light green leaves. It is an excellent continuous cutting lettuce that grows rapidly and is quite dependable. It is heat and drought resistant while retaining a superior flavor and texture. 44 days. Use as summer squash when young; pick before the fruit reaches 6 inches long. As the fruit grows, it develops a pale green hard shell. The gourds can grow to more than 3 feet long and five inches in diameter. The vines have beautiful white flowers that bloom at night. 100 days.

The medium green plants are compact with short stems and hard, round heads weighing 3 to 4 pounds. This is an early variety that produces in a relatively short period. The harvested cabbage is a good keeper. It is well suited to smaller gardens due to its compact size and early yields. Introduced in 1909 by H. Hartman and Company. 68 days. This beautiful sweet melon needs a long dry season to produce well but must be well watered. The skin is wrinkled and a golden color when mature. The flesh is a rich sweet cream color. It is a good keeper and ripe melons usually weigh 6-8 pounds. This variety is adapted to hot and dry climates. 110 days.

Long Purple Eggplant Red Acre Cabbage
This variety produces long slender dark violet fruit that can grow up to 10 inches long and 2-3 inches in diameter. The eggplant is mild flavored and delicious. This prolific variety grows on bushy plants that can grow to more than 2 feet tall. 75 days. This early cabbage produces deep red-purple compact plants. The heads are round, 6-7 inches in diameter and weigh approximately 3 pounds. It is one of the earliest producing open pollinated red cabbages available. It is an excellent space saving, compact and insect resistant variety. 75 days.
