With that said, our seeds are a favorite for many gardeners and we hope to be a part of your gardening experience, whether you are a master gardener or new to the joy of growing your own food.

Calabrese Broccoli (Green Sprouting) Tatume or Mexican Squash
Each plant grows about 24 inches tall and produces a blue-green central head followed by abundant side shoots. It is ideal for spring and fall plantings. The broccoli is buttery tasting and exceedingly tender. This variety is considered a true delicacy. 75 days.

Packet size = 2 grams
This is a vining summer type bearing firm, green, fine flavored fruits. The round fruit is medium to dark green with faint stripes. These are very vigorous hardy vines with an excellent production of fruit. The squash is sweet and delicious baked or steamed. Harvest the fruit when it is about the size of a baseball for best flavor. Left to mature, it can be cooked like a winter squash. When used as a winter squash, the tough skin makes it a good keeper. 52 days.

Serrano Pepper Nantes Carrots
This variety has a tendency to be extremely hot when grown in the Southwest. The three foot tall plants produce a tremendous number of small 2 inch peppers that are candle flame shaped. They turn orange-red from a bright green color when fully mature. 5,000 to 30,000 scovilles. 75 days. These heirloom sweet carrots are nearly coreless; with orange-scarlet roots 6-7 inches long and about 1 inch thick the entire length. This variety produces excellent quality, delicious tender carrots. Save room for this delicious carrot; it's particularly wonderful in salads. A favorite of home gardeners. Also known as touchon carrot. 65 days.

Early White Bush Scallop Squash Jack-O-Lantern Pumpkin
Also known as Patty Pan. This bush variety produces very early pale green to white, pie shaped scalloped fruit. The squash is best when small as it is most tender and sweet. It has a mild sweet flavor and creamy texture. This variety produces a large number of squash on just a few plants. 50 days.

Packet size: 4.5 grams (approximately 25-30 seeds)
This is the classic variety that is grown for Halloween pumpkins. It often produces round or oblong fruits for unusual jack-o-lanterns. The fruit is bright yellow-orange and smooth, averaging about 10 inches in diameter. (110 days).
