All our seeds are open pollinated, chemically untreated and nonGMO. We specialize in carrying only heirloom seeds. We focus on finding varieties that perform well in extreme climates. With that said, our seeds are a favorite for many gardeners and we hope to be a part of your gardening experience, whether you are a master gardener or new to the joy of growing your own food.

Crenshaw Melon King of the Garden Pole Lima Beans
The fruits are pear shaped and about 7 inches in diameter. The smooth, dark green skin turns yellow at maturity. The flesh is salmon pink and has an excellent sweet flavor. This variety produces extremely well in warm climates. 100 days. This old time variety yields a large amount of tender creamy-green flat Lima beans in large 6" pods. This variety loves hot weather and does not tolerate cold weather. These beans are larger than the Fordhook Lima bean. 88 days.

Georgia Southern Collards Burgundy Okra
This old time heirloom collard has a reputation for doing well in hot weather and tolerating poor soils. This non-heading variety produces numerous large blue-green leaves. A light freeze improves the flavor. 70 days. A bush type variety, this okra produces distinctive deeo red pods. The plants are quite beautiful with red tinged leaves and stalks. The plants grow to about five feet in height. The pods turn green when cooked. This variety is an excellent producer that does well in long hot summers. 56 days.

Black Seeded Simpson Lettuce Black-eyed Peas (California Blackeye)
This loose leaf variety produces tender, delicate light green leaves. It is an excellent continuous cutting lettuce that grows rapidly and is quite dependable. It is heat and drought resistant while retaining a superior flavor and texture. 44 days. A Southern favorite, this Cowpea or Southern Pea may used fresh or dried. Vines are heavy yielding and resistant to disease, growing to 40 inches. This variety is particularly suited to desert gardens as it is drought and heat resistant. It needs long hot summers to produce well and is very susceptible to frost. 60 days for dry, 45 days for snap.
