This hardy plant is one of the easiest herbs to grow and one of the most popular for the home garden. Of the many varieties of dill, the bouquet dill tends to grow faster and produce earlier than most. The plant is extremely prolific, often reseeding itself yearly in your garden. Dill - This herb prefers moderately rich, loose soil and full sun. Sow directly in garden, dill is difficult to transplant. Plant seed 1/4" deep or broadcast over the selected area.
