Spinach is a delicious and easily grown vegetable. This cool weather annual yields a highly nutritious vegetable that may be eaten raw or cooked. The leaves are very nutritious. The plants are compact and can easily be grown in small spaces. It is a high yielding vegetable that can be harvested as you would lettuce. It needs to be grown quickly to provide the best tasting and most flavorful leaves. This hardy plant can undergo frost without damage.

Each packet contains 5.5 grams of spinach seed, approximately 500 seeds. This larger quantity allows you to do plant a large garden, save your seeds for up to four years or do several plantings through the season. Spinach does well with succession plantings and has a very long growing season in most areas. Spinach seeds store well for up to four years when kept in a cool dry location.
