Broccoli is an exceptionally nutritious and healthful vegetable that is an important addition to any garden. It is easy to grow and may be planted spring or fall. The quality is finest when broccoli matures in cool weather. In the desert, broccoli is a wonderful and dependable fall crop. Broccoli produces over an extended period of time, allowing an initial harvest of the central head and repeated harvests of side shoots. The leaves, stalks and mature flowers are edible.

Each packet contains 2 grams of seed, about 600 seeds. You can start plants indoors and do succession planting, share your seeds with friends, or save your unused seed. Broccoli seeds can be saved for up to four years without significant loss of germination. Always store saved seed in cool, dry location.

Compact blue-green heads grow to about 5-6 inches across. Good production of side shoots after central heads are cut. This variety is a high yielder and good for freezing. This is the best fall variety; it can also withstand dry spells. 75 days.
